At the age of 10 I decided to
take part in a learn to skate course. My coach Stewart
, who I have had from day one, thought that I had talent
and said he would like to take me for private lessons.
From that stage onwards Stew has always believed in
me and pushed me to be the skater I am today. I did
one 15 minute lesson a week for a year and a half, and
then the lessons started to build as my love for the
sport did.
I
am now at a stage where I am really enjoying what I
am doing on the ice and I wouldn't change a thing...
apart from having to get up at six in the morning! But
I love to train, to push myself and always strive to
make myself a better skater.
While training, we have been fortunate enough to work
with some amazing people like Kathy Casey. The opportunity
to work with a World and Olympic Coach was and continues
to be, an incredible experience for us both.
We have also worked with:
World and Olympic Coach - Janet Champion
World and Olympic Coach - Tamara Moskvina – Seminar
- April 2006
World and Olympic Medallist Robin Cousins– Seminar
- June 2005
International Coaches Joy Sutcliffe and Karen Fletcher
